The Bathtub Race is back for 2014! New date, new venue!

The Arundel bath tub race is back for 2014 with an exciting twist.  This annual family favourite will take place on SUNDAY AUGUST 24^th from an exciting new venue – RNLI slipway, Fishermans’ Quay, Littlehampton.

With the Harbour Lights Bistro offering a patio with a grandstand view of the race, and a proper slipway, this new venue is already proving popular.  I have 8 teams signed up already!!

Once again we are raising funds for Chestnut Tree House and will of course be donating to the RNLI as well.  We are ‘borrowing’ their slipway after all!

The original organising team is back in place and stronger than ever.  This is most definitely a committee free zone and the race will only be organised by those who have nurtured it over the years and know it best.  I have over 30 years experience of this event and so far 818 people have taken part in my races!
