There are various ways to travel to the Arundel Bathtub Race.

Car Parking

Due to added attractions this year, parking at the pub will be competitor / exhibitor only. To offset this, an extra 500 parking spaces have been created by Arundel Castle Trustees, who have kindly agreed to open the overflow area at the rear of Mill Road car park in the town centre.  This grassed area will be open for an hour longer than normal until 7 p.m.  Gates will be locked at 7 p.m.  There is a £30 release fee (payable in cash only) to release vehicles parked after 7 p.m.  Whilst access to and from the tarmac car park is not locked, height barriers will open at 8 a.m. and close at 6 p.m.

Parking Charges – Applicable 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Cars:  0 – 3 hours = £2.      3 – 4 hours = £ 3.      4+ hours = £5.

Trailers require a seperate ticket.

Coaches:  £10 in designated areas

A free shuttle service will operate from this site to The Black Rabbit.  Look out for the A & A Travel mini buses parked at the rear of the tarmac car park and operating from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Taxi information

Taxis will be able to drop off  on the approach to the pub.

Train information

The nearest station is Arundel which is 1.7miles from the venue – so if you’re feeling fit you can definitely walk it.  The alternative is to stroll downhill into Arundel, then catch the free minibus from Mill Road car park.  Best of both!
